Hey There!
My name is Juan Camilo Prada but everybody calls me Juank and I'm a Colombian freelance Mangaka/Comic Artist and illustrator. I specialize in Japanese styled comic art and my strength is the female figure and face expressions. I love doing traditional art with ink and paper, but I also work with digital medium.
I've been drawing ever since I can remember but due to life circumstances (and a need for a paying job) I ended up working as a software development engineer for almost 14 years.
On 2021 I got the chance to move to Japan, which seemed to be the best opportunity to try myself as an artist, and so I have started to work as a manga/comic creator and illustrator full time.
Right now, I'm doing all I can to break into the Manga industry, either by getting my stories published by a magazine in Japan (and getting paid to do it), or being able to publish them by myself on the web while getting support from readers and followers to keep me from starving!.
